Incorporated in 1965 the company has been producing and distributing POS accessory products for over 40 years. In May 2010 the expansion of the company included the acquisition of Rayleigh Technical Design, an injection moulding company with a spread of customers across all industries.  This not only doubled the footprint of the company and increased staff by 50% but gave direct control over many manufacturing processes.  Alplas is now well placed to invest in manufacturing capability and bring forward future product developments and the best advantages of cost effective UK manufacturing for the POS market and other industries.

Alplas has a reputation for finding innovative, low cost solutions to POS display problems and providing the right product to do the job. Display problems are presented to us on a daily basis and when a solution is adopted by a customer great attention is given to delivering, right first time, on time.  This ethos will now roll out across all other non POS sectors.
