It starts with an idea and then a conversation with our in-house design team who will guide you from initial briefing, through sketch designs, modelling and design development, to your finished product.

We work to provide you with the best solution, innovative and clean in design but workable as a production part. Using the latest Solidworks design technology and 3D rendering, our designers and engineers will advise on all aspects of the process, particularly practical functionality and cost benefit. And we'll provide you with 2D/3D image files and actual models to assist your decision making process - turning concept into reality for you.

case study

Spirit Displays gave us a brief to manufacture a cost effective version of their existing product. Our designers and engineers worked together to create a first model and with input from Alistair at Spirit, we were soon able to produce a working prototype. Further customer input and adjustments were made to ensure the new product achieved a comfortable, ergonomic fit for the end user. We were subsequently given the green light to make the moulding tool and within 2 weeks the first production shots were manufactured. One key benefit we were able to offer to Spirit was the choice of product colour and everything was achieved in time for its appearance at the 2013 FESPA show.

rapid prototyping

As part of the design process your idea can be turned into a full-sized model, layer by layer through 3D printing. This technology allows the rapid creation of complex shapes and with our suite of 3D printers we can quickly get prototypes to you, often overnight. This helps you with speedy, cost effective and confident decision making.

We offer complete in-house tool making and maintenance, unusual in the UK today. Using the latest CNC machining and our array of milling machines, spark eroders, surface grinders and lathes, our engineers can produce and maintain cost effective mould tools. Our continued investment in this technology allows us to offer you a comprehensive service with the highest quality engineering and exceptional value.

injection moulding

Operating from our 63,000 square feet site in Essex, we house a number of robot enhanced moulding presses, from 35 to 210 tonne clamping force, operating up to 24 hours a day and accommodating everything from low volume to high volume production runs.

We use many different polymers as appropriate to the product requirements and can colour products to match your brand or promotion identity.

Our engineers, designers and sales team all work closely together and this collaborative approach allows us to provide you with a comprehensive, one-stop service from your initial sketch to the first production run.
